Phoebe is a cross country athlete. Every time she runs, she feels as if her dad is running with. She has plans to get a scholarship with her running, that is until her mom drops a bomb. A bomb that means moving halfway across the world. All because she is getting married to some man she met on her trip to Greece. Now Phoebe is to attend an exclusive academy, where you can only enter by having ancestry from the Greek Gods. That’s right, Greek Gods are alive and their descendants have a school of their own. Phoebe decides to join the track team, so armed with her Nike shoes and wit, she plans to make the most of the situation. Hopefully, she can find her place among the gods.
I would recommend this book to fans of Percy Jackson and Harry Potter.

WARNING : SPOILER ALERT
This book is packed with wit and comedy. It is really cool how Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory, is really Phoebe’s ancestor. This book is basically Harry Potter meets Percy Jackson. It was really heart breaking that Phoebe’s dad chose sport’s fame over his family. I loved the whole modern twist on Greek mythology. Phoebe is a real fun-loving character that most people can identify themselves with. Please do make sure to send in all your thoughts about this book.
