About the Book:

Twelve minutes to live.
Twelve minutes to die.

My best friend became the love of my life. Like all couples, we had our good times and our bad. Endured through sickness and health. Worked as a team to navigate through richer and poorer. The life we built was a good one… then tragedy struck.

If humans were meant to love and be loved, how do I move on when I’m standing at the grave of my soulmate? Can the heart ever heal when all it beat for is torn away? I have to persevere. To live in loving memory. All the while wondering if the sun will ever shine through the storm clouds of grief…

From best-selling author Amy Cecil comes a timeless romance about the healing power of hope and the wonder of learning to love again.

Review:

This book was incredible. I loved how the author wrote this book. It was heart-breaking and sent you on an emotional rollercoaster.

The plot development is this book was perfect. I loved how the chapters were each a different time period in the main characters lives. It was a bit frustrating to know something was going to happen to one of them, and not being told what it was. However, the author wrote this book so beautifully that the ending was so good. This book was not only about losing your soulmate, but it was about healing, the power of relationships and dealing with the good, bad and ugly.

I loved how you saw the main characters grow from young to old. The author wrote a beautiful friends to lovers story. Both main characters were greatly developed. They had deep personalities and it was easy to relate to them.

Also, this book is so unpredictable. The twists in this book keep you on your toes. It was a real page turner.

Overall, this was a beautiful, heart-breaking, emotional book. It will make you cry, laugh and fall in love with the characters. If you loved The Notebook, then this book is for you.
